This year brought about it a lot of changes. For instance, I have only gamed once since January and it wasn’t even at my place. Games continue to get more beautiful, realistic and awesome. There’s no doubt they’re gonna get better.
However, there’s no denying that there are those old games that make your heart melt when you remember about how fun it was. Some were just so stupid that it was fun.
Here’s a list of some five games that I miss and think that you should try out or play again this year:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Back when CoD was the best thing in town. You just have to admit that hunting Makarov was fun and then you feel like crying when Soap McTavish dies in the end. This was a bomb ass video game.
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an action hack and slash video game. it is a spin-off in the Metal Gear series, and is set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. In the game, players control Raiden, a cyborg who confronts the private military company Desperado Enforcement. The gameplay is focused on sword fighting and weapon combos.
Burnout Paradise is an open world racing video game developed.
The gameplay is set in the fictional “Paradise City”, where players can compete in several types of races. Players can also compete online, which includes additional game modes, such as “Cops and Robbers”. Several free game updates introduce new features such as a time-of-day cycle and motorcycles. The game also features paid DLCs in the form of new cars and the fictional “Big Surf Island”.
Mafia II is an open world action-adventure video game. The game is the sequel to 2002’s Mafia and the second game in the Mafia series.
The story follows a gangster and his efforts to climb through the ranks of the Mafia.
Mafia II falls under my top 10 best played games ever! I just loved this game and having played it thrice, I would happily play it again.
Spec-OPs The Line
Spec Ops: The Line is a 2012 third-person shooter video game.
The player controls Captain Martin Walker, who is sent into a post-catastrophe Dubai with an elite Delta Force team on a recon mission. As the game progresses, Walker’s mental health deteriorates, as he begins to experience hallucinations and slowly realizes the horror of war. Players can hide behind cover, vault over obstacles, and shoot enemies while utilizing a variety of gadgets.
Sand is a key gameplay mechanic that can be manipulated to defeat enemies. Included with the game is an online multiplayer mode, developed separately by Darkside Game Studios, allowing players to engage in both cooperative and competitive gameplay.
