This has to be one of the top annoying errors you will come across. You simply go to start up Firefox but it greets you with this “lovely” error: Firefox is already running

Like a good lad, you exit Firefox and start it up again only for the bugger to return once more. Now you’re super mad and about to start calling your computer names. Please don’t πŸ™‚ Do you know how much money the computer therapy industry chucks per year? Computers have feeling too πŸ™

Keep calm and be a ninja! πŸ™‚

It’s actually pretty easy to fix this.

Just open up your terminal and type: $pidof firefox

This will give you the process id of Firefox. Next, run: $kill <pid> substituting ‘<pid>’ with the actual process id.

Have fun adding to your browser history sins πŸ™‚
